One savvy shopper, Carolyn Litchfield, was left open-mouthed when shopping in her local Morrisons, when she realised that a solar lamp had been reduced from £15 down to just £4.

Thrilled with her find, the woman proudly took to social media to show off her bargain buy.

Posting on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private page with a whopping 2.3 million members, the bargain hunter said: “Solar flickering outdoor lamp from Morrisons. Reduced from £15 to £4.”

The Morrisons fan then shared a snap of her new lamp, which will be sure to add style and atmosphere to any outside space.

Over the moon with her cut-price find, Carolyn later explained: “I went back and got two more as they’re so nice.”

Whilst you could put these lamps anywhere in your garden, Carolyn noted: “They stay on the conservatory windowsill.”

The Facebook user shared her post just 17 hours ago, but it has quickly amassed 55 likes and 23 comments.

Social media users were left stunned at the cheap find and were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Love it! Fab find.” Another added: “I have had two of these for about 5 months. Amazing, and lasts for hours and hours.”

Meanwhile, many shoppers tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the bargain buys.

At the same time, many bargain hunters asked their friends to look out for the cheap find for them.

One user mentioned a friend and asked: “Could you check yours for me please?”

A second tagged a friend and commented: “If you’re passing.”

Another shopper tagged a Morrisons worker and questioned: “Have yours got this?”

Whilst someone else mentioned a family member and noted: “If these are £4. Get me two please.”
